Nick Mattingley is former show’s director at the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).

Mattingley joined the RHS as head of shows in February 2015. He has more than 20 years’ experience in entertainment and events. His career has encompassed UK and International touring theatre shows and festivals as well as many West End runs including A Man For All Seasons, Big Life, Festen, Steven Berkoff’s Coriolanus, East and Messiah. In the events realm, his work includes arena shows, outdoor concerts and festivals in sensitive locations such as Horse Guards Parade, Hampton Court Palace, Kenwood House, Audley End and Tatton Park, as well as Natural History Museum Ice Rink with IMG, the British Military Tournament at Earls Court, horse shows and flower shows at Royal Hospital Chelsea, Hampton Court Palace, Chatsworth House, Tatton Park, amongst many others.
