With 30 years extensive Police service, Garry has an in-depth experience of managing and delivering high-risk events, contingency and emergency planning. An experienced Counter Terrorism Security Coordinator (CT SecCo) with significant practical experience in high-risk events including protected visits (Ministerial and Royalty) and large-scale public/private events.

Garry has been the lead assessor/course director for the UK Police Counter Terrorism Security Coordinator (CT SecCo) training since 2012.

He designed, delivers, and assesses the Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Counter Terrorism Risk Management at the University of Cumbria.

Garry is a full member of the Security Institute and a board member of UK Police National Counter Terrorism Security Coordinators Board. He has numerous Emergency Planning College and Police College certifications.

Now director of Storm 4 Events, Garry delivers CT Training and consultancy services to the private sector.
