Andrew Smith has recently joined Human Race as CEO after working at London Marathon Events (LME) for 22 years.

Human Race is the UK’s leading mass participation events company, putting on over 30 events each year in triathlon, cycling, running, duathlon and open water swimming. The company also specialises in delivering bespoke corporate events, working with businesses such as JLL and Cisco

In addition he has worked on design and delivery of the 2012 Olympic Marathons and was the Operations Director for INEOS 1.59 challenge in Vienna. He has a passion for delivering iconic events that make a tangible difference to people’s lives and the planet. Outside of work Andrew focuses on his two young children and can be found dancing to Beyonce most evenings!
